The project and challenge
Blog design for the WordPress community
This was a project that I challenged myself with in order to learn more about WordPress and design. The challenge was to create a unique WordPress theme for the community. This project was also a means of marketing my skill and getting my name out there.
The solution and results
A unique design is created
I created a clean and simple design with an emphasis on its strong color theme. After releasing the theme to the public I saw many downloads and received a lot of comments about the design. In the end, it seems to be very successful in achieving the goals I laid out for myself.

02. Snell Snippets DESIGN / BLOG
The project and challenge
A blog design to increase awareness
Northeastern University's Library came to me seeking to create a blog design that was bold, casual, clean, and professional in order to increase the awareness of the library's resources. The library found that expensive resources were not utlizied as much as they could be simply due to lack of awareness that they existed. The blog is part of their strategy to change that.
The solution and results
A unique design is created
In order to reach a greater audience, the design uses colors that are not often seen in most library's designs. This kept the design fresh and bold, which allowed it to communicate with a wider audience. The blog is still in development so there are no results to speak of yet, but the blog is receiving a lot of attention.
